My name is Jenny Gonzalez, and I’m a designer born and raised in Puerto Rico. As a first-generation college student studying away from home, my work is deeply influenced by my identity, language, and culture. I have a wide variety of interests, ranging from fashion and music to video games.
I’m a bilingual creative who blends design, photography, and art to create expressive and intentional visuals. I enjoy incorporating cultural elements into my work, sometimes subtly, sometimes boldly, depending on the message I want to communicate.
My design journey began during the pandemic, starting with photo collages of myself and friends, evolving into digital artwork and design. What began as experimentation quickly turned into a passion, leading me to become Adobe certified in Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
At Sinclair Community College, I expanded my practice into photography and fell in love with the process. I’m especially drawn to macro photography and botanical subjects, capturing detail and texture in a way that reflects my design style: structured, maximalist chaos.

Good design must be original, not wasteful. I believe in raw ideas, structured maximalism, and responsibility. I value facts over assumptions, and concept over ego. I believe in earning attention through thoughtful execution rather than expecting it. If there is a problem, tackle it. Start Creating. Earn your impact.
